Nice reading from one of my favorite authors.
This book is a well written sequel to the. Pilot novel and carries the story line to a successful ending
Before Google and , I did not realize I had not read two of the four books in Andre Norton's Moonsinger series. So over thirty years later I got the chance to purchase this 2 in 1 book. Norton is as good as I remembered. Service from was excellent. This is a good buy if you are into Sci-Fi and Andre Norton.
I had bought the two books years ago in paperback. I still have them. When I saw Moonsinger and realized it was the prequil to this I had to get it. I had been lookin since Moonsinger came out for Flight in Yiktor and Dare To Go A Hunting. So I finally got the whole series in two books on my kindle. If you like science fiction and fantasy you'll love these books.
Second part of one of my favorite author's best series. Read Andre Norton in the same spirit as you'd read Edgar Rice Burroughs or Robert Heinlein or Isaac Asimov, and you'll love her books. Andre Norton was crowned as a Grand Master writer in her time, and with good reason. I've been going back and reading her series again and I've found, much to my delight, that they're just as much fun as when I read them decades ago. That is the sign of an amazing writer!
I think they probably scanned a hard copy to create this digital version, and their OCR software made lots of mistakes (for example reading 'duties' and interpreting it as 'dudes' and reading 'any' and substituting 'and'). A human proofreader would have caught these mistakes. This kind of error makes it difficult to read if you're not familiar with the story already.
